Description
The Stock Market contest is aimed at 4th through 12th graders.
Included in the price of the contest is our web-based Stock Market unit study (worth $20) You will get immediate access to the unit study even though the contest only starts in June 1.
Students will have $100 000 (virtual money) to invest on the NYSE or NASDAQ. They can invest as much of that amount as they want to – no more than $20 000 on any stock.
They will be able to see how well they are doing relative to the others in our contest.
We will be using Howthemarketworks.com as the platform for the game. Instructions will be provided in a virtual classroom in Canvas (a learning management system).

1st place – $75 Amazon gift card
2nd place – $50 Amazon gift card
3rd place – $25 Amazon gift card
4th place – $15 Amazon gift card
5th place – $10 Amazon gift card
Game dates: June 1 until July 31, 2026
