Students who already know a bit about AI or who have used it before may find the concepts easier to grasp, but it’s also accessible for those with no prior knowledge of AI. Assignments are engaging and thought-provoking, and because there are many interactive games, learning about AI is so much fun! The class also provides general guidance and tips on how to use AI tools safely and efficiently.

Overall, I would give it 4/5 stars. If there’s one thing to note, it’s that there isn’t much of a traditional “classroom” setting. You don’t really interact with or get to know your peers other than through assignments that specifically require discussion. That said, the class really puts your brain to work. It challenges you to think deeply about AI ethics, how AI functions, and complex questions that truly test your understanding. The teacher is very experienced in her field, and I loved learning from her! This review is coming from a student who just finished the course, and honestly, it’s one of my favorite classes I’ve taken!

Understanding how AI processes, learns, as well as how it can be, and is used in today’s world has shifted my whole perspective on AI.

But the coolest thing I learned about this class is learning about vibe-coding. I realized that I could finally make my own app and earn money from it. I have always wanted to make my own, which could be like a calculator, but I did not have the coding skills to do so. Vibe-coding was a great discovery for me, and it actually helped me make my own website, which I hope will make me money.
